1863 Memorial of the Chiefs and Headmen of the Wyandott Indian, praying to be indemnified for losses sustained from white settlers.

A treaty clarifying that the lands designated to tribes and individuals in the Treaty of Maumee Rapids (1817) were not granted by the United States; rather they were never ceded in the first place. This treaty also established the Big Spring Reserve.
