This is the Register of the Missionary Society for the Mission of the Methodist Episcopal Church among the Wyandots at Upper Sandusky, Ohio. It contains the minutes of the Missionary Society from September 6, 1828 to November 7, 1847. The Register begins with the Constitution of the Missionary Society, which was recorded in full by William Walker, Jr., who at the time was the Secretary. About halfway through the Register John M. Armstrong becomes the Secretary. The final page of the Register is signed by Reverend Russel Bigelow, who notes that he received $28.36 from George I. Clark, who was the Treasurer of the Wyandott Missionary Society. Lucy B. Armstrong, who was the daughter of Russel Bigelow, gave this book to William E. Connelley in Old Wyandotte "about the year 1887." Connelley notes that this Register is "second in importance only to the Record of the Quarterly Meeting Conferences." The inside of the front cover has a sticker from William E. Connelley, and the first few pages have pencil drawings of two birds drawn by an unknown artist.
