This termination treaty stripped the Wyandot of their nationhood, made them full citizens of the United States, and released the United States from all previous treaties and responsibilities to the Wyandot.
Once Removed to Kansas, the Wyandot did not receive the acreage promised by United States and instead purchased land from the Delaware. The U.S. agreed to pay the Wyandot nation $185,000 in compensation for the land.
