A treaty expanding Article IV of the Treaty of Fort Wayne (June 7, 1803) to include the Wyandot a land cession for "the establishment of houses of entertainment for the accommodation of travellers."
This peace required the Wyandot, Delaware, Chippewa, and Ottawa nations to recognize the sole authority of the United States. It negotiated for land cessions in Ohio and established an Indian territory. Also called the Treaty of Fort McIntosh.
This treaty extended the terms of peace and friendship over the Potawatomi and Sac nations. It reaffirmed Wyandot control over lands, and placed several crimes under federal and state jurisdiction. Also called the Treaty of Fort Harmar.
