A.B. Bartlett to Irvin P. Long

Summary:
Letter from A.B. Bartlett to Irvin P. Long
Wyandot:
Irvin P. Long
Description:

Difficult letter to read, in which Bartlett begins by saying, "we have all round received papers containing an account of your bill in the senate. We think you have done well to get the senate committee to report in favor of your petition - no one objects to the oppropriation & it is only matter of time with you - you will surely get it." "Be sure & have a provision in your oppropriation bill to have the money paid as by the constitutions of the last treaty - That resolution on your petition smells strong of Gutherie." Also mentions that "Our town is deader than ever."
